Apple Pie Oatmeal
A warming cinnamon apple pie oatmeal with maple sautéed apples.

In a sauté pan over medium heat, add the apple and water. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring often, until the liquid is absorbed. Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and salt, toss to combine. Add the maple syrup and cook until apples are tender, about 5 minutes.

In a sauce pan over medium heat, add the oats and milk. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
